Our roots go back to 1998, when Gregory — our founder — left the United States and made Portugal his home. After years of living in and traveling through both countries, he fell deeply in love with the culture, food, wine, and centuries-old traditions that make this corner of the world so extraordinary. His early work with the Lisbon Four Seasons Hotel, crafting authentic experiences for international visitors.
A friend’s simple suggestion — “you should be doing this professionally” — led Gregory to establish a Portugal-based travel agency in 2000 working exclusively in Portugal. Soon after we partnered with a Spanish Travel Advisor and began offering Bespoke Vacations in Spain which made us the first Iberian Peninsula Travel Company to provide travel services to both countries – which is now the normal operating procedure for most travel companies based in either Portugal or Spain.
